BLADE REPLACEMENT
  1. Cycle arm and blade assembly to a position on the windshield where removal of blade assembly can be performed without difficulty. Turn ignition key off at desired position.
  2. To remove blade assembly from wiper arm, pull up on spring lock and pull blade assembly from pin (View A). Be sure spring lock is not pulled excessively or it will become distorted.
  3. To install, push the blade assembly back onto the pin so that the spring lock engages the pin (View A). Be sure the blade assembly is securely attached to the pin.
ELEMENT REPLACEMENT
  1. In the plastic backing strip which is part of the rubber blade assembly, there is a 11.11 mm (7/16 inch) long notch located about one inch from either end. Locate either notch.
  2. Place the frame of the wiper blade assembly on a firm surface with either notched end of the backing strip visible.
  3. Grasp the frame portion of the wiper blade assembly and push down until the blade assembly is lightly bowed.
  4. With the blade assembly in the bowed position, grasp the tip of the backing strip firmly pulling up and twisting C C.W. at the same time. The backing strip will then snap out of the retaining tab on the end of the frame.
  5. Lift the wiper blade assembly from the surface and slide the backing strip down the frame until the notch lines up with the next retaining tab, twist slightly and the backing strip will snap out. Continue this operation with the remaining tabs until the blade element is completely detached from the frame.
  6. To install blade element, reverse the above procedure, making sure all six (6) tabs are locked to the backing strip before installing blade to wiper arm.
