Your ProCarCare Page

What is ProCarCare?
ProCarCare is your personalized page on ProCarCare, where you type in information about your cars and select the kinds of car care information you want easy access to every time you return to ProCarCare. Once you create your ProCarCare page, it will automatically save a record of all the maintenance or repair services you have performed on your cars, and will send you reminder notices when your cars need recommended future maintenance like oil changes or tune-ups. ProCarCare also has tools for you to add information about your cars whenever you wish, and will tell you when there is news about your make and model of car, such as recall notices or service bulletins issued by the manufacturer.

How to set up your ProCarCare page
Your ProCarCare page is created in one of two ways:

  • You create a ProCarCare page by simply clicking on the “Sign Up” link on the ProCarCare home page and providing your name and e-mail address. After you submit that, you will go to the “Create a Personalized ProCarCare Profile” page, where you can add additional information about your cars and car-care needs.
  • Alternatively, if you use other features on the website, such as the Find a Shop search tool or the Get Expert Advice troubleshooting system, you will need to enter information about yourself and your cars. When you enter this information, your ProCarCare page will be created automatically for you in order to save that information so you don’t have to enter it again.

How to create a personalized ProCarCare profile
You start to create your ProCarCare page by clicking the “Sign Up” link on the ProCarCare home page. This will take you to the “Sign Up for ProCarCare” page. You will be asked to choose a Login name and password, plus enter an e-mail address and zip code. One you’ve filled in this information, click on “Create ProCarCare Profile” and your ProCarCare page will be created.

How to personalize or modify your ProCarCare page
Once you have provided the information requested on the “Sign Up for ProCarCare” page, your new ProCarCare page will appear. You can now use the various features of ProCarCare, such as the Get Expert Advice troubleshooting system, Find a Shop, and more. As you provide information about your car using those features, the information will be saved automatically to your ProCarCare page. Alternatively, you may immediately start adding information about your car(s) to your ProCarCare page by clicking on “Add a New Vehicle” link and adding information about your vehicle(s). Or, you may add complete information for your personal profile by clicking on the Update My Profile button in the left-hand navigation bar.

Saving and managing your car's service history
Your ProCarCare page is designed to be the place where you can store all information about maintenance and repair work done on your car. This information is valuable to guide future service decisions; also, good maintenance records can increase your car’s resale value. Any time you schedule a service appointment through ProCarCare, the service record will be saved automatically in your car’s service history (another good reason to always schedule your cars’ service through ProCarCare!). When you click on the “My Service History” link for your car, you will go to the “Manage My Service History” page, where you can view details of the services on your car. On this page you can also add additional items about services performed on your car.

E-mailing your car service information to someone else
If you wish to send a copy of your car’s service history to another person – a Shop, say, or a person interested in buying your car – you may do so by clicking on the “My Service History” link on your ProCarCare page. This will take you to the “Manage My Service History” page, where you will see the link to “E-mail My Service History.”

Returning to ProCarCare in the future
Once you have created your ProCarCare page, every time you come to www.procarcarezone.com your ProCarCare page will automatically come up. The exception is if you return to ProCarCare from a computer other than the one you used to set up your account in the first place. If you do come to ProCarCare from another computer, you simply need to type in your Log-In and Password into the boxes in the left-hand navigation bar and click “Go.” Alternatively, you will simply be prompted to provide your user name and password if you go to a page that requires any of the personal information that is stored on your ProCarCare.
