What is the Rate a Shop feature?
ProCarCare is a virtual community where we encourage car owners and Shops to share information that will improve the car care experience for all parties. As a resource for consumers, we allow them to rate their satisfaction with services they receive through any appointment made with ProCarCare. These ratings then appear in the listings and detail pages for all ProCarCare Shops.
How are ratings gathered?
Every time a car owner schedules a service through ProCarCare we ask him or her to rate their satisfaction with the service. We do this by sending the car owner a note a few days after the service was scheduled to ask him or her to fill out a quick satisfaction survey. Alternatively, next time the car owner returns to their ProCarCare page, we’ll have a note asking them to rate their most recent un-rated appointments. The car owner can also go back and rate any un-rated appointments through the Manage My Appoints page, and then clicking on Un-Rated Appointments. In any case, the car owner needs only to fill out the simple survey form and submit.
How do you rate Shops?
Simply fill out the survey. You’ll be prompted to rate your satisfaction with the Shop in three areas: Price satisfaction (was the work performed for the amount estimated?); convenience satisfaction (were you satisfied with the level of convenience afforded by the Shop?); and quality satisfaction (were you satisfied with quality of the service performed?). For each of these areas you will be asked to rate the Shop on a scale of 1 (lowest satisfaction) to 5 (highest satisfaction). Additionally, the survey form provides a comment box, where you may write details not covered by the three categories.
What are the ratings that ProCarCare displays?
Those are the average of the ratings the Shop has received in the past 90 days from car owners who scheduled service through ProCarCare. Therefore, a Shop’s ratings can go up or down, depending upon the satisfaction level of its customers during the past three months.
Can the Shop respond to my ratings?
Yes, we provide for the Shop to submit a response to your ratings and comments. However, ProCarCare acts as the intermediary in this dialog; the Shop submits their response to us and we forward it to you. The comments and responses are held private and not displayed on ProCarCare’s public pages. This process gives the customer the opportunity to air possible complaints, and the Shop the opportunity to address those grievances.
