What is Find a Shop?
Find a Shop is the area of ProCarCare where you can locate shops near you, evaluate their services, pricing and customer satisfaction ratings, as well as make an appointment to take your car in.

How to find shops and Shops
To get started, click on the Find a Shop button in the navigation bar. This will take you to the Find a Shop “wizard,” which is a step-by-step process to help you easily provide the information needed to find the shops and services you need. First you will need to select a vehicle so that we can match you with shops that work on your type of car. In the following steps you’ll need to provide information about your location and how far you’re willing to drive to a shop. If you already have a favorite shop you can go directly to its pages by using the Favorite Shop link (available only if you’ve already signed up for your ProCarCare page) or providing its name or unique referral code.

This will take you to the Find a Shop: Search page, where you can define your search parameters. You can search for a Shop by location nearest you, by city and state, or by entering a member shop’s referral code.

After you submit this information, we’ll show you a Search Results page that displays all the shops in your search radius. However, only shops affiliated with ProCarCare have more detailed information on their own set of custom pages. In each ProCarCare listing on the Search Results page, you’ll see the following information:

• Name and address of the Shop.
• This Shop’s satisfaction ratings from other customers, in terms of Convenience, Quality, Price Satisfaction and Overall Rating.
• The Extra services this center offers, such as loaner car or car wash. Extras are indicated by icons; the key to these icons is at the bottom of the page.
• Links to the Shop’s ProCarCare Profile, Select a Common Service, and See Our Specials. These constitute the shop’s personalized set of ProCarCare pages. By clicking on these links you can see detailed information about the shop, the services it offers, and any special money-saving offers currently in effect. To proceed and make an appointment, you’ll need to go to these pages.

How to make an appointment using Find a Shop
You can reach the appointment-setting tool in ProCarCare through any one of the three major tools: Find a Shop, Make an Appointment or Get Expert Advice.

• Using Find a Shop: If you click on the Find a Shop button you first must locate a shop as described in “How to find shops and Shops” above. After you click on the shop’s personalized set of pages you’ll be able to browse detailed information about the shop. To proceed to make an appointment, however, you must first click the Select Common Service link and choose the service you need performed. You’ll need to supply or confirm your contact information. You’ll then go to the Select Date/Time page where you simply click on the calendar to choose an available day (signified by the green “OK”) and click on the morning or afternoon drop-off time button. Provide additional information in the “Notes about Your Service” box if you desire, then click the Schedule Appointment button to send your appointment to the shop. The shop now has your appointment.
• Using Get Expert Advice: You can also reach ProCarCare’s appointment-making tool after you have used the Trustworthy Advice Get Expert Advice smart system. At the conclusion of any troubleshooting session with Trustworthy Advice, you’ll have the opportunity to select the suggested repair and continue on to locate a nearby shop that does the work. Select the shop you want and click on the Make an Appointment link. You’ll then go to the Select Date/Time page where you simply click on the calendar to choose an available day (signified by the green “OK”) and click on the morning or afternoon drop-off time button. Provide additional information in the “Notes about Your Service” box if you desire, then click the Schedule Appointment button to send your appointment to the shop. The shop now has your appointment.
• Using Make an Appointment: If you click on the Make an Appointment button, you’ll first need to select the service you want, then use the shop search features to find shops that perform those services. Select the shop you want and click on the Make an Appointment link. You’ll then go to the Select Date/Time page where you simply click on the calendar to choose an available day (signified by the green “OK”) and click on the morning or afternoon drop-off time button. Provide additional information in the “Notes about Your Service” box if you desire, then click the Schedule Appointment button to send your appointment to the shop. The shop now has your appointment.

How do I cancel an appointment?
If it turns out you won’t be able to make an appointment you have scheduled with ProCarCare, simply go to your ProCarCare page and click on the “Manage My Appointments” button in the navigation bar on the left of the screen, and then click on “Review Current Appointments.” You’ll need to click on the Appointment Tracking Number (ATN) to view the appointment details. In the appointment details you’ll spot the Cancel Appointment button at the bottom of the page. You can also cancel an appointment by clicking on the My Scheduled Appointments link on your ProCarCare page and following these steps.

Creating your list of Favorite Shops
If you have a favorite Shop, you may add a link on your ProCarCare page so you can go directly to that Shop, provided it is an affiliated Shop of ProCarCare. To add a favorite Shop, click on the Favorite Shops link on your ProCarCare page, and then on Find a Shop. Follow the steps outlined above in “How to find shops and Shops.” Once you have selected a shop, click on “See This Location’s ProCarCare Profile” and then on the Add as a Favorite Shop button.

How to nominate a Shop to be an ProCarCare affiliate?
If one of your local Shops is not listed when you use the Find a Shop page, you can nominate it by clicking on the Nominate link under the Non-Member Shops heading at the top left of the page. Fill in the shop’s name, city, and zip code, and then the Nominate button. We’ll contact the shop and let them know they have customers who’d like them to be available through ProCarCare.
